FIRST RACE GUIDE

First HYROX race: A beginner guide from entry to finish

For a first HYROX race, the best goal is a controlled start, clean movement standards and sustainable pacing through the final station. Preparation begins when you register.

01

Choose a division and goal

Review current Open, Pro, Doubles and Relay options. Let present running and strength—not ego—guide your first division.

02

What to pack

Bring tested shoes and clothing, registration details, water, a familiar snack and a dry layer. Do not debut new shoes or nutrition on race day.

03

Pace from start to finish

Start the first run under control, preserve movement standards and follow Roxzone directions. A smooth first result gives reliable data for the next race.
